NEW TRACK DAY FORMAT
Since 2012, Open Car Track Days run to a new format which is designed to give all drivers better quality track time and to assist new drivers in getting involved in track day driving.

The first change will be the equalisation of the amount of time available in the morning and afternoon sessions. In addition the day will be run slightly differently with the introduction of a novice group which will cater for newcomers and less experienced drivers. The aim of this arrangement is to give faster drivers more clear track time by removing the slower vehicles form the circuit while they are out and to give novices a less intimidating environment to drive in where they are not constantly looking in their mirrors for faster cars.

The new track day format will also have a new lower price with two price levels, one for the busier Bank Holiday dates and a reduced price for all other dates to encourage drivers to get out on track at some of these less popular events. 

TRACK CAR REGISTRATION
Any car which has been passed for use by Mondello Park at track days can be used at an open day, as long as it is driven by a driver who is also registered. All drivers must pre-register and provide their details and details of their car, along with a picture of the car prior to being accepted for Mondello Park Track Days.  To register, email your car photo to info@mondellopark.ie.

TIMES & PRICES
All days run from 10:15 until 17:15, with lunch from 13:15 until 14:15. The day is split into two sessions, morning and afternoon and the costs are as set out below. Each driver is allowed to bring one passenger free of charge after which additional passengers will be charged at €20.00 each. Please note that all passengers must be over 18 and may be asked to provide ID. Additional Drivrs cost €40.00 for a full day or €30.00 for a half day & also must produce their License. Spectators will be charged €10.00 admission.

Due to the large number of drivers arriving for our track days with no booking we have had to put a higher on-the-day price in place. It is not our intention to charge drivers more for thier track time, instead we hope this will encourage more drivers to book in advance.

All Open Days take place on the International track layout unless otherwise stated.

SIGN-ON
Every participant must be over 18 and present their current, full, clean, road licence at sign on. If you forget your license on the day you will NOT be allowed to sign on or go on the track. Sign on starts for the morning session at 08:30, morning sign on will always close at 09.30. Sign on starts for the afternoon session at 12:30, afternoon sign on will always close at 13.30. If you have booked in and are late for sign on your place may be given away so early arrival is advised. Sign on is followed by a detailed briefing which everyone must attend prior to going on track.

EQUIPMENT

All drivers are expected to have their own crash helmet as Mondello Park do not hire helmets.
